We acquired electric locomotive as the first 5" locomotive. Every hard-core
5" fan "scorns", I think, but electric operating has some benefits. Running and
maintenance is very easy. You need a car battery charger and a small oilcan only.
Operation is easier than steam operation and you have free time for sighting
surrounding area, in additional. The locomotive is predominantly running for
passenger trains in our indoor actions.

Original of the AEG locomotive is operating on the local railway Mixnitz - St. Erhard
in Austria - gauge 760mm. Two extant locomotives work as shunting locomotives and they
operate while special runs and anniversaries.

Model is simple at firts sight. Engine bonnet is unipartite and bicolour. We ordered
red variant. Engine bonnet is instinct with white lines, word markings and black
hand rails. Easy maquette of pantograph is on the roof. There are two headlights and
suspended fenders on the front side. There are hand brake lever (for blocking standing
locomotive only), lighting switch and controller connector on the back side.
Control over locomotive is interlock by multifunction controller. Controlled functions
are following: switch-on/switch-off, forward-driving/reverse-driving, speed and honker.
There is a battery voltage indicator on the controller.
The locomotive is powered with 750W electromotor. Current supply is interlock by
two 12V batteries in series. Locomotion is interlock by chain gear.
Running characteristics are relatively good - especially battery persistence. The
locomotive is capable of going all day long without short breaks for taking up and
output. The "recuperation" while a lateral inhibition helps for battery charging.
We can use car charger for standard battery charging. Charger is join up through
connector on the back side under the frame.
Honker was added additionally, that we may give sound signals.
