Saturday evening at Harz railway

or compared the model operation with reality

When we felt nostalgic for our last year´s trip at Harz narrow railway we focused on operation with these models one Saturday evening. The weather directly evoked our stay at Harz highlands - cloudy and rainy. But we got back to Wernigerode and its neighbourhood through our garden railway at least.

A photographer caught both steam locomotives the moment of additional equipment in depot Javornik.

The locomotive 99 6001-4 drove at first from depot for passenger train 8951 coupling:

We devoted one summer sunny Sunday to RhB (Rhätische Bahn) - our favourite railway in this scale.
Some new locos and waggons has been included to the rolling-stock. We ran late into the night.

Locomotive Gmf 4/4 with a registration number 243 arrived into station Javornik meantime,
that it make a handling train Mn62861. It refueled in filling at first and then started with shunting.

The passenger car of 1st class and freight car with refrigerate bodie were uncoupled from train R951
in the station Moravany. After that "Bernina Express" now with number R950
set on the way back into station Javornik:

It uncoupled last two freight cars with lumber packages from handling train Mn62861 first
and transported them at siding track by the storehouse:

Next shunting started promptly after arrive into Moravany. Locomotive went into depot first,
where coupled freight cars for handling train Mn62862 to station Orechov:

Two cars with refrigerate containers and one freight car were coupled by storehouse in the left section
of station. All coupled cars of handling train Mn62862 were out of operation at first track.
