First run of prototype T478.3


The first run of prototype diesel engine T478.3 carried out 17th October. This is a first model in "gummy" scale from the Czech Republic. Mr Josef Dobes is a head designer and his company Pragomodel is producer of this model. Tes runs carried out at the Meeting of crazies on August this year. Finalized prototype with number T478.3013 in white-green paintwork introduced himself.
The weather was not very well, such typical autumny raw day. We were impatient for test runs and we handily surpassed bad weather. Everybody could use warming applications or heated up his hands above heating steam models.

We added another express car for subsequent run. But diesel engine had problem with adhesion on the spiral viaduct. Producer must to increase mass of the diesel engine.

Steam locomotives operation

Steam locomotives operation passed over together first runs "Spectacle-snake". Known models introduced oneself - steam models of Karel Duda, Jirka Kut, Jirka Sajbrt and Pavel Uhlir. Cold weather was as advantage, steam from stacks had right atmosphere for operation.
